NEMO
LIGHTING

The Italian Lighting Design Firm

Nemo Lighting, founded by Franco Cassina in Milan in 1993, is a world leader in the field of lighting design, with roots in the history of innovation that has always inspired Italian design. Also strongly linked to the history of international design, Nemo created the Masters collection, a unique selection of lamps designed by 20th century masters, such as Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand, Vico Magistretti, Franco Albini and Kazuhide Takahama. Alongside these projects, Nemo also creates contemporary icons by collaborating with designers such as Mario Bellini, Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas, Foster + Partners, Jean Nouvel, Andrea Branzi and Arihiro Miyake.

Nemo’s mission is to transform ideas and lighting projects into functional products with an innovative aesthetic, while still maintaining an identity and communicative power over time. We move forward and continue to make our own contribution to lighting design.

With its acquisition of the well-respected Turin-based lighting company Ilti Luce In 2020, Nemo Studio offers innovative solutions for architectural lighting design in the museum, retail and outdoor sectors. By engaging in the development of the range of LEDs, Nemo designs fixtures that can be adapted to the new needs of sustainability and energy-saving without losing light intensity.
