Some of the specially produced, large wall lamps of the “Den Nationale Scene” theatre hall, Bergen, Norway. These lamps were introduced in 1940 during a renovation, following a bomb explosion. The work was overseen by architect Einar Oscar Schou himself, who redesigned the interior in the Art Deco/Functionalist style of the time, replacing the previous Jugend style. A further restoration in 2002 returned the theater to its original appearance, and these lamps, along with the rest of the interior, were removed. Made of brass, and glass, very high quality. Original patina. Vintage. Very good original condition. Some traces of use. Rewired. 5 E14 bulbs.
